About Us

Founded by industry veterans with a passion for social impact.

Impact Mortgage was built for purpose. We distribute the bulk of our profits to HOPE International, a Christ-centered nonprofit organization that works in developing countries to provide microfinancing and biblically based business training to entrepreneurs, enabling them to start or expand small businesses.

The founders of Impact Mortgage are industry veterans Jeff Rutt and Jared Martin.

Jeff Rutt is the CEO and founder of Keystone Custom Homes, a Pennsylvania-based home building company that has built over 9,000 homes since 1992. Under Jeff’s leadership, Keystone Custom Homes became the first three-time winner of Builder Magazine’s coveted “America’s Best Home Builder Award”. Jeff is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board for HOPE International, to which Impact Mortgage contributes its profits. Additionally, Jeff serves on the Board for Homes for HOPE, a nonprofit organization that partners with the building industry to invest in underserved families around the world. Jeff has received the Hearthstone BUILDER Humanitarian Lifetime Achievement Award for his philanthropic contributions, as well as the National Epoch Lifetime Achievement award for his service to humanity.

Jared Martin is the founder and former Chief Executive of Keystone Funding, an Independent Mortgage Bank that has three times been named one of America’s fastest growing companies by Inc. magazine. Jared has 20 years of experience in all aspects of the mortgage lending business, including sales, operations, underwriting, compliance, legal, accounting, and corporate governance. Over those 20 years, Jared has also designed and developed numerous proprietary mortgage technology solutions for both internal and external customers. Prior to entering the banking sector, Jared served 5 years as a rocket scientist with the Department of Defense. He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Engineering in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT.
